In the battle for the mid-sized saloon and hatch market, there are a few main players; most notably, Ford and Toyota. the full review
Did you know that so-called, ‘monocab’ cars accounted for more than 1. 1million new registrations in 2007? Over 94,250 of those were in the UK, so it isn’t surprising that it is labelled the fastest growing segment. Over 440,000 Agilas have been sold in Europe, since its launch in 2000. the full review
The last Vauxhall 4x4 in the UK was the popular but flawed Frontera which was launched in 1991 and went on to sell 285,000 units in its 12 year life span. the full review
Having already reviewed the , we have decided to take a quick look at the Vauxhall Zafira 150PS 1. 9-litre CDTi diesel in Elite specification priced at £21,570 - coupled to an optional automatic gearbox (£1,365). Fitted to our test car was the 16-valve derivative of Vauxhall’s acclaimed diesel 1. 9-litre CDTi, developing 150PS (110Kw) at 4,000rpm and 320Nm (236lb ft - quite a lot) of torque from 2,000rpmPerformance wise the diesel engine is quite torquey and never feels lacking especially bearing in mind the class of vehicle. the full review

I can’t speak for the rest of the team but I have never been a fan of the Vauxhall Corsa…until now. Recently named as ‘Best Supermini’ and ‘Car of the Year’ at the 2007 What Car? awards, the New Corsa is Vauxhall’s first overall winner since 1980. the full review
You’re given an option! You’re no longer a single Dad, and it’s no longer just the two boys home for half term, you have added four girls (or is it 3 girls and a special lady?) to the tribe! The experience of a convoy trip from South Wales to Blackpool on a wet October Friday evening in separate cars was enough to make us decide that we definitely needed a vehicle to transport the new “tribe of seven” on a mixture of ‘round the corner’ and ‘great escape’ journeys. My initial thoughts, after years of driving around in a relatively luxurious ‘grand-tourer’ with oodles of space and blissfully tranquil surroundings, were that of ‘minibus’ or ‘van’. the full review
The Vauxhall Astra, Zafira, Vectra and Monaro have all received the VXR treatment and now it’s the turn of the Meriva. the full review
The first sentence in the Astra TwinTop press-pack reads, ‘Today’s weather forecast is…irrelevant. ’ How true. the full review
The all new Vauxhall Zafira was launched in the UK in July 2005. We first saw the Zafira in 1998 and it was quite revolutionary as it pioneered the seven seat compact MPV market and in 2004 it accounted for 40 percent of the seven-seat MPV market. The new Zafira keeps the flexible seating arrangement which sees it morph between a seven seat people carrier and a small domestic van. Vauxhall are hoping to sell 50,000 in the car’s first year of production. the full review
The new Vauxhall Tigra was launched in the UK in September 2004 offering both a two seat hardtop coupe and a roadster at the touch of a button. the full review
A quarter of a century has passed since Vauxhall launched the first Astra in the UK and since 1980 it has enjoyed a dominant position in the compact car class. the full review
