The country is deep in the grip of the credit crunch, money's tight and everyone is tightening their belts. So with that in mind, Wheeler Dealers returns to perk up all hungry motor-fans out there.

And, as well as providing a bit of four-wheeled escapism, the Wheeler Dealer boys will be inspiring people by showing them the simple jobs that can make a big difference to a car and save a few quid. Mike and Edd's £5,000 budget looks even smaller than usual, so they have to work really hard to make savings and make the cash go further.

With that in mind, Mike will be scouring scrap yards for bargain-basement buys which Edd must transform with canny second-hand parts. This time round the Wheeler Dealer guys will really work together to get the best from a range of classic and iconic vehicles.

The Audi Quattro is next on Mike's radar. Struggling to find one that matches the price he is looking for on the internet, Mike gives a few of his contacts a ring. He finds a good looking Audi Quattro for just over £3,500 and hopes it will only need a minimal amount of work done to it so they can make a tidy profit.

However, on the way back to the Wheeler Dealer's workshop Mike has some problems with the clutch and worries the budget will be hit hard if it means a big repair job. Can Edd work his auto magic, restoring the Audi Quattro to a condition that would make Gene Hunt proud?
