Leda Suspension's New Fast Road Range

Published: 28th May 2009

Leading motorsport supplier Leda Suspension is widening its appeal by launching a new range of products designed to give highly tuned road cars a racetrack feel.

The firm, which has built up an established following on the Clubman racing circuit over the past 20 years, is bringing its tried and tested track expertise to the performance car market with its 'Fast Road' brand.

The first product to be launched under the new brand is an easy-to-fit coil over unit which combines a lowered ride height with an optimal on-road performance, giving better handling without the harshness of a full-blooded race set-up.

True to Leda's belief that quality reliable suspension need not be complicated, the units, which come with a two year warranty, are easy-to-fit and are available off the shelf for all popular makes of road car, including BMW, Honda, Peugeot and Volkswagen

Fully TUV approved and tested, they feature a spring and non-adjustable damper offering an up-rated ride that has enough in reserve for the occasional track day and can alter the ride height between -30 to -80mm, dependent on the make and model.

The unit is Leda's first new product since being rescued from administration in 2007 by epm: technology, a composites firm which manufacturers components for elite motorsport teams in Formula One, touring cars and the World Rally Championship.

Graham Mulholland, Leda's managing director, said: "We are very excited about the launch of the Fast Road brand, which will allow us to share Leda's vast racing expertise with a whole new area of the driving market.

"More products are in the pipeline, but these coil over units are a perfect start. They are credible and sophisticated motorsport-derived units which will offer an authentic look and a quality ride to the discerning fast car enthusiast."
