Armor All survey uncovers the truth behind car care habits
Care care gurus , Armor All, has unearthed statistics that suggest UK car owners are too carefree when it comes to protecting the value of their car.
In a poll of 1750 motorists - conducted via the www.armorall.co.uk website - only 34% of people admitted they clean their car to maintain its value, with 47% citing embarrassment of its slovenly state as their cause for cleaning, whilst 19% believed it would get them some peace and quiet.
The car is many people's second-most valuable asset, which is why Armor All is urging drivers to take better care; using its range of quick and easy, no-fuss products to clean inside and out on a regular basis - not less than once a month, as 50% of people surveyed do.
Adding fuel to the findings, the number one resource for second-hand cars, Auto Trader - a frequent partner with Armor All on major car care issues - comments that: "if your car is well maintained, you're far more likely to get the price you're after, if and when you come to sell."
To help maintain a like-new look, Armor All offers products to clean, shine and protect every surface of the car, inside and out, including an award-winning range of quick, simple and effective Wipes, whilst an array of washes, waxes and wheel cleaners leaves no excuse for neglect.
